April Book Finds!

Here are some great books we have been reading. Some we have bought, but you never know what you can find at the library!

March Book Finds
Split! Splat!

Split! Splat! by Amy Gibson and Steve Bjorkman

This book is a fun play on words. Rhyming words change one vowel at a time all while exploring spring rain, mud, and getting clean.

And Then It's Spring

And Then It’s Spring by Julie Fogliano

We follow a boy in spring planting. It starts out dark and brown and follows through until everything is green. It shows the slow progress of plants.

1+1=5: and Other Unlikely Additions

1+1=5: and Other Unlikely Additions by David LaRochelle

It is fun to watch my girls add everything up in different ways.

The Falling Raindrop

The Falling Raindrop by Neil Johnson & Joel Chin

The store of a raindrop falling from the sky and the emotions that it goes through. See the activity we did with the book here

Turn-Around, Upside-Down Alphabet Book

The Turn-Around, Upside-Down Alphabet Book (ALA Notable Children’s Books. Younger Readers (Awards)) by Lisa Campbell Ernst

The girls fell in love with this book. Turn the book and see what the letter becomes next. We took foam letters and turned them as the story went along.
