May Book Finds

Here is this months selection! A lot of the books I find at the library and some I find at a store. Where do you find most of your books?

No Dogs Allowed!is an interesting book about a cafe that does not allow animals of any kind. Very few words great fun to look at. This is great for animal lovers to read. You see a lot of different animals!

I Scream! Ice Cream!: A Book of Wordles is fun play with words. How close things sound together and how different they look and are spelled. We had a lot of fun with this book!

I am Blop! is another fun book by the people that brought us Press Here. They have so many different things they do with this Blop! We love to follow it around and do the activities in the book.

Up Close is another fun books with shapes and figuring out what the shapes make! You can explore many different shapes and how the animals are made from them! We enjoy reading through this book over and over!

Jack and the Baked Beanstalk is a fun retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk! We loved reading this. It was a different story but had all the same elements! You never know how things will turn out! We loved the changes in the store we also compared it to the traditional story when we were done. It is fun to see just what happens.

I hope you enjoyed this months book selections!

  1. Me and my daughter just started going to the library. She is four. She loves going to the library. Thank you for the book recommendations. I will try and get her to pick them, she loves dinosaurs and so far we have come back from the library every time with a bag full of dinosaur books!

    1. I really do love dinosaur books. We have been reading them forever! See if your library has interlibrary loan and then you can have her get special books at when you visit. 🙂 I order a lot of books that way.
