Paper Plate Flower Wreaths
Spring flowers are in bloom and I love how pretty they are. We made some fun Paper Plate Flower Wreaths to hang inside our house.
Since pollen is a big issue at our house we do lots of flower activities that we can have inside. I love how flexible you can be with flower activities. This activity could be adapted to be used with foam flowers or felt flowers.
We read the book The Reason for a Flower: A Book About Flowers, Pollen, and Seeds (Explore!) to go with our activity.
What you need: paper plate, flower (got ours in the dollar section at Target), glue, glitter glue, green construction paper and foam brush.
First we applied the glue to the paper plate. They used foam brushes to apply the glue.
Next the applied the torn green construction paper. The girls helped me tear up the paper.
Then they applied their flowers all over the wreaths. The girls took different approach to putting the flowers on. My youngest put them all over and my middle made a pattern with the flowers.
Then each of them had their own ideas of what they wanted to do with the glitter glue.
This was a fun project and we loved it. Plus a great decoration to my house.

These are so pretty. I think they’d make lovely Mother’s Day gifts!
They are absolutely beautiful! What great decorations!
So cute! I just might have my kiddo make one to send to each of her grandmothers. Pinning!
Thanks we love having these!
This is a sweet craft, and great for working on fine motor skills!
