Fun Winter Themed ABC Tracing for Print & Cursive

Working on ABC writing is something you do for a long time. Plus after you have print writing, you then are learning cursive. Kids love fun and creative ways to learn their writing. not all kids learn the same way. Each of them learns in different ways.

This is a fun set of free winter ABC themed printables for both print and cursive to many levels can use it. Each type of printable has different activities that you can do.

Tracing and learning the ABCs is something your work at different levels. I wanted to make something that would work on different levels of learning. That is why there is three different options for this ABC set. You can find and cover, tracing lowercase, and tracing uppercase. All three options come in print and cursive.

All the cards come in print and cursive. I would recommend laminating the cards if you plan to use them often. You can use them different ways. I like putting them in a bin and have them pull out each of the cards. The bin has white glass gems and snowflakes.

Another option is to just stack the cards and have them flip through the cards and dot or trace the letter. The cards really allow you to be flexible in what your child is working on. You can see below how I set up the dot the letter for one of my girls to do. I have the cards stacked and a dot marker for her to use.

We had loads of fun working on finding and tracing the letters. My middle likes that she can work on her cursive writing in a fun way.

The cards allow for so many different uses beyond just the tracing or dotting. Here are some addition ideas:

• Match the Cards for uppercase and lowercase
• Match the print to the cursive letters – you can mix up lowercase and uppercase or just stick to one
• Put them in alphabetical order
• Pull them out and write on blank paper
• Make words from the letters
• Pull out a letter and find an item in the house that starts with that letter
• Pull out the print and trace the cursive letter
• Pull out an uppercase and trace the lowercase and switch cards for lowercase and uppercase
