Ways to Use the Spring Dot Marker Printables
I get asked how to you use the dot marker pages. I thought I would show a few ways we used the Spring Dot Marker Pritnables. It is easy to turn a simple page into something different.
In the printable set there is some trees and some flowers. Each are different and fun to do with dot markers. I wanted to show you some ways you can change them up. I like to think outside of the box when we do something more than one time. You can see below three examples of the trees and the flowers.
Flower Dot Marker
Using ABC Stamps
Exploring the parts of the flower is a fun way to use the flower dot maker. This is simple and easy to do. We used alphabet stamp with this.
Using Glass Gems
Glass gems are a favorite of my youngest. She loves to put them on the circles and does it often. This flower was fun and looks pretty when it is done. We also counting how many of each type of gem that we used.
Using Q-tips
Q-tips are very fun to paint with. You can read here, about how to make the pages small enough to do this activity. We always fun have with this type of change. Making something smaller is always changes up what skills are used.
Spring Tree
Using Yarn
We used yarn to make these fun Spring Yarn Trees. The yarn makes for good sensory and fine motor activity.
Using Glass Gems
We have a big collection of glass gems at our house. I pulled out the glass gems pink and have them place them on the tree. We rolled a dice to see how many gems we would place on the tree. This is pretty and great fine motor as well.
Using Button Cut Outs
We use a button punch to make this great looking button tree! The punch is fun for the kids to use as well.
Some other ways you can do stuff with the Spring Dot marker is to use torn paper to fill in the circles.
