Fun Fine Motor Craft: Washi Tape Halloween Wreath
We love having crafted decorations for the different seasons. Halloween is almost here and we are decorating our new house! My girls have loved the different Washi tape wreaths that we have made.
It is such a simple craft for kids to do. Plus works on their fine motor skills. They also make fun decorations for the different holidays.
The Washi Tape Halloween Wreath is a great addition to the Halloween Crafts and the wreath crafts on the site.
What is a Wreath Craft
A wreath is a collection of items around a circle. It can be used as a seasonal decoration around a house.
Washi Tape Halloween Wreath
The washi tape wreaths are one craft my girls love to do. They are always asking to use the washi tape for something. My girls were the ones to point out that we had not made one for Halloween yet.
I love that this is a fun way to build fine motor skills. I have two girls that need help with it but don’t want to do baby things as they call it. Doing this wreath builds those skills, and they get to make a Halloween crafts simultaneously.
Plus I love that very little prep time is needed for the craft. I just cut out the center of the plate or have one of my girls do it. I grab and washi tape and we are ready to go!

How we made the Washi Tape Halloween Wreath Craft
A fun part about making these wreaths is that you can do what you want. It is a fun process craft that can be different every time.
Each of us did our own paper or not pattern while making our wreaths. It is always fun to see how they all turn out.
We start by pulling the tape out and measuring to fit across the plate.
You turn the paper plate over and press the tape on the back of the wreath. IF you have problems with tape curling up you can use regular tape to help keep it in place
My two older girls love to make patterns for the wreaths and my youngest just does her own thing. I love that they can be creative with this craft.
My oldest made a fun washi tape bat to decorate her wreath with. This is what makes these fun. They can be creative and do their own thing.
