Easy To Make Washi Tape Easter Eggs
Looking for a fun Easter decorating activity then try this. It was a fun last minute idea that my girls wanted to do. We enjoy doing a lot of project with different materials.
We have done a lot with Washi tape crafts and loved to create things with it.
The Washi Tape Easter Eggs makes a fun window decoration that is easy to make and looks great.
While reading the book Easter by Gail Gibbons my girls like learning about the Easter Eggs and why we do them. It gives a good history behind them. We have always had fun doing different Easter projects and my girls wanted to do a new Easter Egg craft.
They suggested we use the washi tape again. I thought it would make a perfect window decoration.
What you need for this craft:
- mix of washi tape
- wax paper
- pen
- white paper
- tape
- scissors
- Easter eggs printed two per page
I taped the wax paper to the table and put a white piece of paper under it so they could see the egg outlines easier.
They took the Easter Eggs that I printed from the Easter Playdough Mats. I printed two pages per page in adobe to get the eggs smaller. We used a pen and traced around the egg on the wax paper.
After we got the eggs traced we put the washi tape on it. I love this part because everyone can do their this craft their own way. I like to see how creative they can be with their eggs.
After we finished the eggs we cut them out and got them ready to hang.
Then we had fun hanging them up in our window. They make a great Easter decoration!
