How we made the Valentines Heart Wreath Craft
You will see the simple steps below that we used to make our Valentine’s heart wreath craft.
Punch out the Hearts for the Wreath
You can punch the hearts out in advance or let kids punch the hearts. I like to let kids punch their paper hearts so they get the color and section they want. And pressing on the punch is a great pressure activity as well.
They put the paper in the heart punch and press to punch out the heart.
You can see what the heart will look like after they have been punched out. Each color and punch will be unique and makes the hearts fun for the wreath.
You want to have a collection of hearts before you start gluing them on the paper plate wreath.
Our set of scrapbook paper has a mix of colors and heart themes for kids to punch.
Glue the Hearts on the Wreath
Finally you want to glue the hearts on the wreath. You can use regular glue.
But if you find the hearts sliding around to much, you can use a glue stick to help the hearts stay more in place.
You can use which works best for the kids doing the craft.
