Flowers are one of my favorite parts of spring! And I love new flower crafts. We loved making our old pastel flower wreath and this year we have a fun new flower with tissue paper!
Super simple flower wreath to make. And lots of different ages can make it!
Plus this is a great open-ended craft for kids to make. It can be their own creation.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
This is a great addition to the flower crafts on the site. Plus another great wreath craft!
I love the book Planting a Rainbow! It shows how many great flowers of different colors there are.
It is a great book to read with the craft.

How we made the Tissue Paper Flower Wreath Craft
These are all the steps we used to make our flowers. It is super simple and easy to do! Plus it is loads of fun to see the wreath at the end.
Punch out the tissue paper flowers
You can have older kids punch out their own flowers. And for younger kids, you can punch out the flowers in advance. We found the bigger flowers works better than flower punches with smaller petals.
You will want to make sure to fold the tissue paper over a few times. Thin layers of tissue paper don’t punch as well as thicker paper.
You will want to punch out a lot of flowers and use the different sizes and colors.
We punched out all our flower colors at one time.
Glue the flowers on the wreath
The final step for this is gluing the flowers on the wreath. You can use glue or a glue stick.
We placed the flowers around the wreath without glue to see if we had enough flowers.
Then we glued the flowers on. We found that glue and glue stick both work.
We found that the glue worked best on put on the wreath and the flower placed on top of it.
And the glue stick we found worked best when you use the glue on the flowers and then placed it on the wreath.
Plus it is also fun to overlap the different flowers.
