The Space ABC Find and Trace is a great center for working letters. It can be used in many different ways. But the main way to use it is by recognizing the same letter or matching uppercase and lowercase letters.

A lot of people start with lowercase letters and then work up to uppercase letters. But because this set has both letter cases you can use the one that works best for your needs.

You will find a set of uppercase and lowercase letters cards. You have all 26 letters of the alphabet. I recommend printing these on cardstock and laminating. It helps them last longer.

Then you have some recording sheets that come in uppercase and lower case with the letters mixed up. The page has a cover or trace option for the letters.

There is never just one way to use a printable. And I like showing a few of the ways you can use them.

You can do what the set is made for. You can have them match the card to the letter on the page. We used clear counters to cover the letters.

You can switch it up and find the letter and then trace the letter on the page. Super simple and if you want to reuse the tracing page laminate it or put it in a sheet protector and use a dry erase marker.

Another fun way to do this is to find the opposite letter case. You can give them an uppercase set of cards and the lowercase finding sheet and have them find the lowercase for that uppercase card. You can switch and do lowercase cards and uppercase worksheet.

You can plage a matching game with the cards. You can match the uppercase and lowercase letters. Super simple and easy to do. You can have them start facing up or facing down if they are up for a fun challenge.

You can also just have them match the same letter case. So you can see that we have it set up for just lowercase letters below to match. You can put them in a pocket chart and have them match the same letter.
