Easy No-Prep Shark Shape Find

Sharks are a favorite subject during the summer for kids. And we always try doing a shark week activities. And today’s shark shape find is great for that.

These are easy no-prep finds that work on shape word and geometric shape. It is a great set that can be used as kids grow.

And the seasonal finds have been everyone’s favorite for years!

This is great addition to our ocean printables on the site.

I love that these are simple and easy to use. You just printed and use. No prep work needed at all.

Each of the pages focuses on one shape at a time. You will find 12 shapes in the set: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, rhombus/diamond, oval, heart, star, crescent, hexagon, octagon.

Each page has tracing and finding. You can see the geometric shape below. It has tracing of the shape and finding on the shark fin.

The shape word also has tracing and finding. You can see the words on each of the shark fins to find.

Ways to use these Shark Shape Finds

I love using the dot marker with all of the finds. Does not matter the theme. You can dot the trace the shape and dot the shark fin.

If you want to reuse pages, then laminate them or put them in a sheet protector. That way they can trace the shape with a dry erase marker and cover the shapes with items. You can see we used some fun mini shark erasers we found at Target.

You could also use the shark counters from the Under the Sea Ocean Counters to cover the shapes.

Another idea to do not shown is to just color them with crayons, markers, or even watercolors. It is about having fun while learning!
