Sequencing: Seasons of a Tree
I love that many different seasons that we can see. I have always loved watching the changes from winter to spring. We are in those changes now and it is fun to see them.
I also love the sequencing sets that kids can use to learn about the seasons. And with Earth Day and Arbor Day this week I thought a sequencing about trees would be fun.
The Seasons of a Tree Sequencing Printable is an excellent addition to the Earth Day printables, tree printables and sequencing printables on the site.
What is Sequencing?
Sequencing refers to identifying the components of a story — the beginning, middle, and end — and the ability to retell the events in the order in which they occurred.
Seasons of a Tree Sequencing Printable
Seasons of a Tree Sequencing Printable is a retelling the four seasons that a tree goes through. You have four parts to the story. You have four parts to the story. You can retell the story in this fun set.

How we used some of these Seasons of a Tree Printables
There are 3 different wordings of 3 part cards for the set. You have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th; first, second, third, fourth; and first, then, next, last. These allow for different types of learning styles with the cards.
There are several clip cards and task cards that match up to the set. You can use them together or cut apart for the clip cards. They have the same word options as the 3 part cards. You can always use the 3 part cards to help kids with the clip cards. I love using clothespins with clip cards. But you could also use paper clips for the clip cards.
There are three types of cut and paste cards. Each of the pages has four steps and pictures to cut out. They come in 1, 2, 3, 4; first, second, third, fourth; and read the sentences & put in order. There is also an option for kids to do a cut and paste with sentence writing.
There are several writing pages and they all match up with the easy reader book in the set. Each of the pages has simple sentences about what is happening in the picture. These are great books to use with the set. I love that you can have an easy reader book to match up to the rest of the set.
