Sequencing Mini: Itsy Bitsy Spider
I know that loads of people always ask about the different sets I make. So I try and allow you to have some mini sets you can use with your kids.
This mini set comes for the Sequencing set for Stories. It is the mini Itsy Bitsy Spider Sequencing! A fun way to explore the story through pictures, clip cards, and writing.
What is Sequencing?
Sequencing refers to identifying the components of a story — the beginning, middle, and end — and the ability to retell the events in the order in which they occurred.
Sequencing Mini: Itsy Bitsy Spider
My favorite part about this sequencing set is it gives you options of what you want to do. You can do the clip cards. Maybe you just want to do the cut and paste. But this gives you a small glimpse into part of the whole set.
If you are interested in the full set with all the stories, you can get it at my store.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
Here is What You Will Find in the Sequencing Mini Itsy Bitsy Spider
This set gives you a good idea of what you will find in the sets. But it is only 3 pages from the 31-page set. But still helps you see what part of the set. Plus this is a favorite song of many kids!
You are going to find a page with 2 sets of cards: 3 part cards and clip cards. These are both great for telling the story of the Itsy Bitsy spider. You can do just one set of the cards of both of the cards. It does best for what you can use. I do like that the 3 part cards can tell kids if they got the clip cards right. I love using clothespins on clip cards.
Kids can work on cutting out the pictures and pasting them in the correct order. You can sing the song and then do this activity with your kids. It is simple and easy to retell the story.
If your kids are older they can do the writing part of this set. You can use the 3 part cards or not. They can write about what happens to the spider.
