How we made the School Cookie Cutter Watercolor Painting
Pick the Cookie Cutter Shape
You pick out the cookie cutter shape that you want to use. You then place it on watercolor paper.
You hold on the outside or the top of the cookie cutter to hold it in place.
Paint Inside the Coookie Cutter
You paint inside the cookie cutter until the cookie cutter is filled in or as much as you want to paint is filled in.
Lift off the Cookie Cutter
You list off the cookie cutter to see your painting underneath. This is a fun way to paint with different shapes and have a fun picture. Plus, every picture is different and unique.
Repeat the Steps Above
Now you have fun repeating the steps above with a new cookie cutter. Let kids be creative and see what a fun painting they can make.

You want to make sure you have a bowel or water and a towel to clean off the cookie cutters between painting. They clean up easily when you use watercolors.
You also want to make sure you dry the cookie cutters after you are done to prevent rusting.
