Setting up our Firework Painting
You will see the way we set up everything for this painting.
Paint On a Paper Plate
You can see the paint and we put three colors on a paper. We just swirled them around on the paper plate. We put the red white and blue on the same paper plate.
Put Elastic Ball in Paint
You then put the elastic balls in the paint. You can see we have three balls in the three colors.
How we made the Red, White and Blue Firework Painting
You will see all the steps we used to make the firework painting.
Pick up a Elastic Ball with Paint on It
You can see the paint covering he elastic ball. You can see how the paint is on the rubber bands in different thickness. And part is not always covered.
That makes the painting unique.
Stamp the Elastic Ball on the Paper
Next you want to take the elastic ball and them stamp the paint on the paper. You can do one stamp at a time or you can do many of each color.
You can press the ball into the paper to make the fun shape.
You can see that after one stamp on the paper that there is still lots of paint on the elastic ball.
You can use that rubber ball to stamp many of the same color all over the paper. And this is all without going back for more paint between stamps.
Add More Colors
After you have one color add more. You could do a painting with just one color but doing all three colors is fun and amazing for kids.
And colors can overlap on this painting and over lap colors are fun to do.
You can also reuse a color if you started with one color and want to add more of that color.
Now remember that is is just a fun painting activity and no painting will look the same. And that is okay.
If they only paint with one color that is okay.
If they only use a few colors and don’t overlap that is okay.
This is something fun and easy and fun.
