How we made the Rain Watercolor Cookie Painting
You can see the steps below we used to make our rain watercolor painting.
Hold the Cookie Cutter In Place
When you paint with cookie cutters you want to put the cookie cutter on the paper where you want to paint. You hold it on the top of the cookie cutter.
Paint Inside the Cookie Cutter
After you have it where your want the painting, you paint inside the cookie cutter. You can see we used a large brush to paint inside the cookie cutter. It makes the painting go faster.
But if you have small parts to a cookie cutter then smaller brushes work better.
Pick up the Cookie Cutter and See the Raindrop
Once you have filled in the cookie cutter you lift up the cookie cutter to see the painting they did.
Paint Again with Another Cookie Cutter or the Same
After you have one finished move to the next one and paint again! This is a simple way to make a fun collage of rain items that looks really cool.
Plus kids can have fun painting just what they want on the page. Remember there is no set way to make this painting. Let them be creative with it!
