Polar Animals Dot the Number & Count the Number: Polar Bear & Penguin
Numbers and counting are a big set of activities for kids to work on. I like when you can put two items together. And that is what these printables are.
You have dot marker numbers and counting with fun winter themes.
You are going to find polar animals themes of penguin and polar bears for the dot the number count the number!
These printables are great for a polar animal theme. I know that penguins and polar bears are always popular on requests in winter.
The dot the number and count the number printables come in two different options.
You have the black and white which makes a great no-prep printable to work on your counting. Or if you want to save on not printing color.
The color version makes a great math center for kids to work on. I like to print these on white cardstock and laminate them. It helps them last longer.

Things to use with the Polar Animals Dot the Number & Count the Number
This is a collection of a few of the items we have used with these mats. You can see below how some of them are used or mentioned.
Ways To Use the Dot Marker Number & Counting Printable
The most basic way to use these dot the number and count the dots is by using them with a dot marker. That is why you have two versions. You can see we used the black and white version.
I love using glass gems with them. They are simple and easy to use. Plus they fit great on the circles. You could also use clear counters. Any hands-on items you hand might work well.
Another item you might have around are unifix cubes. They are great for hands-on counting. You can see that we used them on the dots. They are easy to use on the printable. You could also use playdough as well.
Another hands-on items I love to use is black rocks. They are great for working on fine motor. Kids can have fun placing them in the circles.
Don’t forget that you can use the dot markers on the color pages as well. I know some kids just love the color on the pages.
