I love easy reader books. They are a blast to make and I know that people are always asking me about making more books. Well, today I have one just in time for Talk like Pirate Day!
It is a fun free pirate coins counting easy reader book that goes from 0 to 10 and works great just about any time of the year.

This is a fun new addition to the pirate printables on the site. It is a simple easy reader book. I have really grown to love these little books.
Each of the page in the book has a number to trace, a sentence to read, and matching picture.
Ways to Use this Pirate Coin Counting Easy Reader Book
You can have kids read, trace and count all on the same page. We like to underline the number in the sentence and trace the big number. You can see an example of that below.
You can make the pages have counters as well. One counter we have loved are the unifix cubes
If you want something more to go with the counting book there are a few options. You can print off a counting mat. They can place the unifix cubes
If you have one number you are working you can add the Pirate Number Find. It has number 0 to 20 with number digit and number word options. They are a great no-prep addition to working on numbers.
The final fun printable to work with this book is a pirate number color and trace. It has the same images from the book to help kids matching up their counting and writing. It is a fun addition to math centers.
