How we made the Paper Roll Turkey
You are going to find the steps below that we used to make the paper roll turkey.
Paint the Paper Roll Brown
You use foam brushes to paint the paper roll brown. You want to make the paint thin so that it dries fast. Once you have it painted you put it aside to dry.
Use Paper Roll to Stamp Turkey Feathers
You use a paper roll and the colors: brown, red, orange and yellow to make turkey feathers. You make a half dome on the paper with the paper roll. We used watercolor paper for the paper because it is thicker.
If you have younger kids you can dry the lines they would stamp on the paper.
You can see how you add one arch after another with the paper rolls in different colors of paint.
Glue the Eyes and Beak on the Paper Roll
You then glue the eyes and beak on the paper roll. If you have the googly eyes that are self-sticking then peel off the back and stick them on. Then glue on the beak.
Glue the Paper Roll on the paper
Finally glue the paper roll with the eyes and beak on the paper with the feathers. And you have finished your turkey!
