No-Prep Ocean Themed Addition Word Printables
There are many ways to work on addition. I love to have themed activities for addition. Word problems are not always fun for kids. I know that one of my girls has always hated them But I do find that adding a theme helps them.
Plus having something easy to just print and go is nice. The ocean themed addition word problems are just that simple and easy to use.
These Ocean Themed Addition Word Printables is a part of the 5 Days of Ocean Printables.
I wanted something fun easy and quick to work on some of our math during the summer. These no-prep word problems are just the answer for this. I could print all three off and give them to my youngest to work on different days. Plus they are a nice addition to the rest of the ocean printables on the site.
Each of the pages has two addition word problems on them. This gives them space to draw or write out about the addition problem.
We also use a lot of unifix cubes
For each word problem, there is a number line to help if they need it. They can use it any way they like. We like to start at one number and count up to the next one.
