Museum Search Bookmarks For Kids
Museums have to be one of my girls’ favorite places to visit. We are always making a trip during school breaks and vacations. They are a great place to explore art and history.
I’m always looking for ways to change up our visit. The Museum bookmarks are one of our fun ways to do that. We have done shape searches, color and more. This was a way to change things up!
There are three types of bookmarks. Each covers a different type art or area. They are paintings, items, and geography. You can split up the bookmarks or use them all together.
I printed ours and laminated. I then put them on a 2 inch ring to make it easier to flip through the bookmarks. You could divide up the bookmarks and and use a 1 inch ring for each type.
This also make is fun to do something different in a museum you already know. You divide up the bookmarks and try to see where they think they might find their bookmarks. It is also fun to see how many of each bookmark you can find.
We tried to find all the painting bookmarks in one area. But we had fun using the bookmarks in the new exhibits in the museum. We had fun guessing what we might find first.
We enjoyed the new challenge of finding different items. It changed up one of our favorite places to visit. Plus it could also be used with books about museums. You could make it a fun search to do in a book.
You could also add in the color bookmarks and the 2D shape and 3d shape bookmarks to take along with this set.
