Easy reader books have always been a favorite educational tool to use. Because kids love the idea that the book is theirs.
This book can help with skip counting by 10. It is a skill you can start as soon as kindergarten and work on until they start multiplication and division.
Each of the pages in the book has a monster holding ten candies. You can see monsters with candy add up to the number on the page. You can also see a repeat addition at the bottom of the page.
Things to use with the Skip Counting By 10 Easy Reader Book
I always get asked what I used with the printables. So I made this easy list where you can find the items on Amazon.
How to make the skip counting easy reader book
You print off the book and line up the papers. You cut the papers down the middle.
You alternate the papers to make the book. You can find the odd pages are on top and even pages on the bottom.
Then after you have the pages alternated you line them up nicely again and staple on the side. I like to put 3 or 4 stapes in the book.
How to use the Skip Counting by 10 Easy Reader Book
You can read through the book and color the monsters and the numbers. It is a simple way to start using the book.
You can add the repeat addition at the bottom. I also like to add in the unifix cubes so that kids can see the number as well.
At the end of the book you can repeat the skip counting numbers.
