We had a very long winter and this was a great time for sure to get outside. We started to enjoy the changes at they came. We did several trips outside to look at different changes. We first looked at some of the basic changes that were happening around us. We took a look at the leaves and plants that were outside. It is fun to see how the plants grow.

We looked at the way a plants starts growing and how the leaves look as they grow. How are they different? How are they the same? How long until it changes? This is a fun way to talk and exchange ideas.

As the blossom petals fell from the trees we looked at the different petals. There were some with petals and some flowers. We talked about how different each of the petals and flower were. We compared the differences in the petals and flowers. How many had all the petals on them? We also compared how the petals looked like snow as they were falling.
