Leaf Man – Leaf Art
We read Leaf Man (Ala Notable Children’s Books. Younger Readers (Awards)) by Lois Ehlert . After reading the book we went and gathered leaves outside. We also picked up some pine cones. Then we made leaf art work.
What you need: leaves, glue and paper.
We went outside and gathered leaves.
We compared the leaves size shape and color, then put then glued them on paper.
The finished product.
Don’t forget about the Virtual Book Club For Kids link up on Monday September 17th! To see more fun Lois Ehlert books and activities.

We made leaf art man too, but I never realized there was a book about him. Thank you for sharing on Read.Explore.Learn. I love the way your man turned out.
We made a leaf man too. It will go up later in the month. I had no idea there was a book called Leaf Man. Thank you for sharing on Read.Explore.Learn.
Great fun! Love making leaf people with little ones! They are always so creative!
We love leaf art! Great post.
We made a leaf man project, too- it’s so much fun to use natural objects in art.
