July Virtual Book Club: Donald Crews

I always look forward to seeing what books there are for the Virtual Book Club. This months Author is Donald Crews. We had this same author around this time last year. He was a new author to me then but now is a favorite to read. We often check his book out.

One of our favorite books of his is Freight Train. We have read it tons of times. We did an activity with it last year. It was our Counting with 10 Black Dots. We have done the activity several times now and just love it.

Some other favorites we have are: School Bus, Harbor and Parade. I love how his books are simple and build on fun concepts. They are fun to read several times.

This months three books are: Freight Train, Ten Black Dots and Truck.
