July 2015 Book Finds
We had lots of fun looking at books this month. We have been very busy filling in our summer reading charts. We had tons of books that we read this month. There was always a fun new book to find. We have been checking out 20 to 30 books a week right now. It was hard just to pick a few we liked.
Where’s the Pair? is a great book. We loved the book before it The Odd One Out. This books is about finding the two the match on each page. They are fun to read and then find. You can always talk about the many different similar animals on each page.
Stars is a book about the many different types of stars. How many ways can you use stars. I love how creative this book is. We enjoyed reading it.
The Night World is about a cat waking up a boy to explore the night world. This book has great colors in the dark. I love the changes from night to day at the end.
Warning: Do Not Open This Book! is a favorite read. You read from the front cover all the way to the back cover. It is a book to have fun reading. My girls love how funny it is.
Where Is Bear? is a fun book about animals playing hide and seek. Rabbit finds everyone but bear. So Where is bear?
Interstellar Cinderellais a retelling of the classic but in space. Cinderella likes to repair things. This is great for girls that like the build and do engering things.
Yosemite’s Songster: One Coyote’s Story is a great story about a coyote at Yosemite. The pictures are wonderful and a great story to follow.
