The glitter crayon wreath is a wreath make from crayon cut outs from cookie cutters and construction paper. You use dot marker and watercolors for painting the wreath. You can see full steps below

What we used to make the Glitter Crayon Wreath Craft

• Crayon cookie cutter
• Glitter paper
• black construction paper
• glue – We used clear because we were out of the normal glue
• black dot marker – or watercolors
• paper plate
• binder clips
• scissors

How we made the Glitter Crayon Wreath Craft

You will see al the steps below that we used to make the crayon wreath with kids. As well as a few steps we used to prepare the wreath.

Making the Crayon Cut Outs

You can see below how we cut out the crayons from the glitter paper. I traced the crayon on the back of the paper. And then used paper binder clips to hold the glitter cardstock together. I found that you can do three or four pages at a time but more than that is to hard to do.

You can see how it looks after you cut out the crayons. Super simple and easy with the binder clips.

Cut out Black Strips for the crayons

You want to cut out two black strips for each crayon. You can use a crayon cut out to see how long each strip should be.

Dot Marker Paint the Paper Plate

You want to use dot markers to paint the paper plate. This black dot marker has a shimmer to it as well.

If you don’t have dot marker you could watercolor paint the wreath.

Make the Crayons

You are going to take the glue and make two strips of glue on the glitter crayon cut outs. Then you are going to place a black strip of paper on the glue.

As you make the crayons you can talk about the colors of each of the crayons. This makes is a fun color activity.

You can see a full set of crayons finished here. And if the black happens to be longer than the crayon you can always trim them or just leave them. You can decide if you want kids to trim or not base of the ages doing the craft.

Glue the Crayons on the Wreath

The final step is to glue the crayons on the wreath. The crayons can be in any order and any way around the wreath. There is no one way to glue them on.
