Ways to use the Romping & Roaring Letter U Pack

Letter U Coloring Page

This is a great letter worksheet for introducing kids to the letter U and that umbrella starts with the letter u. You have a simple sentence to read at the bottom of the page and then an umbrella to color.

Letter U Color and Trace

You have a letter coloring page with tracing. You can trace the sentence that says U is for Umbrella. And then you can color the letters and umbrella on the page.

Color Or Dot the Letter Uu on the Umbrella

You have an umbrella with several capitol letter U’s and lowercase letter u’s on it. You can use a crayon or a dot marker and color all the letters on the page.

Stamp Letter Uu on the Umbrella

You have an umbrella on the. And kids can have fun stamping the uppercase letter u and the lowercase letter u on the page. We use these abc stamps. They are super fun and great for working on fine motor while learning letters.

Decorate the Letter Uu (or playdough mat)

You have a letter practice page that has the start and stop for kids to trace the letters. Each part of the tracing have the start and stop to help kids write their letters. This is a great page to put in a sheet protector and use dry eraser markers on over and over.

You have a row of uppercase letter U to track and a row of lowercase letter u to trace. This is a great way to practice writing letters.

You have the same row of letters to trace as above, but the letters have the direction arrows and guidelines. These help kids see how far up the lowercase letter goes vs the uppercase letter. Plus the directions help them see what way to trace the letters.

This is another letter u handwriting page. This time you just have the letters in the guidelines without any help. This is great for kids that know what way to write the letter but need extra practice.

You have an uppercase u and lowercase u letter fine and color. You have outline letters for kids to color. There is a color code for kids to color the letters. You have a letters mixed all over the page for them to find and color.

You have a dot marker letter find printables for the letter U. You have a color code for the uppercase letter U and the lowercase letter u. You can use a dot marker and dot all the letters using the color code. This is a great visual worksheet for the different letter cases.

Matching Letters Uu Worksheet

You have a simple matching worksheet for the letter U. You have kids match the same picture and letter on the other side. You have two uppercase letter u and two lowercase letter u. They can draw a line from one side to the other. If they are not great at drawing you could use playdough mats or yarn to make the matches.

Letter Uu Roll & Count

You have a letter dice with size different sides that match up to the roll and graph worksheet. You have kids roll the die and then color the graph unit one reaches the top. A great way to work on a math project and letters at the same time.

You have 8 shapes for kids to trace. They have a thick line for them to trace the shape. These are great for fine motor work. But could also be used for a mini shape playdough mat.

This other shape tracing worksheet is similar to the thick line. You have the same 8 shapes but with the dotted line. This allows kids to work up to a hard shape tracing page from the easier one. In the middle of each shape is an umbrella.

You have a color by letter uppercase letter U activity. You have small, medium, and large sizes for kids to color. There is a color code on the top left hand side of the paper.

You have an umbrella to make a lacing card. You use a hole punch on the umbrella to make the circles for the lacing. It works best if the umbrella is printed on cardstock and laminated. This helps it hold up better when lacing.

2 Piece Letter Uu & Umbrella Puzzles

You have a puzzle for the lowercase letter u, uppercase letter u, umbrella only and umbrella with letter U and u. These are fun way to work on letters with kids. The two piece puzzles make a great learning center activity.

Letter U 4 Piece Puzzles

This is a great puzzle for kids who like puzzle. It is more of a challenge than the two piece puzzles and the four piece puzzles.

If you are having issues doing the puzzle one way to do it would be to print the puzzle twice and use one as a template to make the puzzle.
