Ways to use the Romping & Roaring Number 4 Pack

You will see information about all the pages and some ways to use some of the pages in the number four pack.

Color the Number 4

You have a simple coloring pages. It has four shirts at the bottom and the words 4 four in bubble letters for kids to color. This is a great page for introducing the number.

Find the Number 4

Kids are going to search on the shirt and find all the fours and color them. This is a great way to see the number 4 over and over. And great for fine motor. You can color with a crayon like we did or you could use a dot marker to do the numbers.

Trace – Color – Count 4

You have a number worksheets with a number four to color. There is a number sentence to trace that says “I see four shirts.”

Then you have four shirts to count and color on the page.

Color by Number Worksheet

You have a color by number worksheets. You have numbers 0 to 6 for kids to find and color. The number 4 will color the 4 and the word four on the page. A great coloring page and number worksheet.

Color by Letter Number Word

You have a simple color by letter worksheets. It has the word four on the pages. Then a color code at the bottom of the page with with letter having its own color. Then you color the letters based on that code. You can see the different colors for the word four.

Color the 4 in 10 frames

You have a ten frame with 2 space and four of the spaces hae shirts in them. Kids can color the four on the left side of the paper and then count and color the shirts in the ten frame.

10 Frames Playdough Mat

You have a ten frame for a playdough mat. You have a four in bubble font for kids to make the number four. Then you have four circles in the ten frame for kids to make playdough balls to fill in the ten frame. A great counting activity for the number four.

Number Four Word Playdough Mat

You have a playoudgh mat for the number word four. You can make playdough snakes and the line the letters of the words with the snakes. A great way to work on fine motor skills and learning to spell the word four.

You can see we put the page in a sheet protector but you could also laminate the page. Then put the playdough on the letters.

Number 4 Playdough Mat

You have a numerical number 4 playdough mat. It has the number four in the middle on the page for kids to use playdough to make the number four.

You have a number 4 and word four tracing page. You have the 4s at the top in a big font with the word four below. You have four shirts on the side for kids to counting. You can trace each of the numbers on the page. This is a fun number handwriting page.

You have a similar page to the page above, but with guidelines and arrow to help kids trace their letters. You can follow the directors on the arrows to know how to trace the letters.

Number 4 Writing Practice with Stop & Start

The number 4 start and stop is a great way to work on handwriting for the number four. It gives you clear way to know where to start and when to stop with the green starts and red octagons.

This is a great page to use over and over at the start. You can put the page in a sheet protector in a binder and do it over and over.

You have a page with the number four in guidelines with two rows of numbers for kids to work on practicing their handwriting.

Number Four Word Writing Practice with Guides

You have a handwriting pages for the word four. You have three lines of the word four for kids to trace. You can use a pencil. But markers or colored pencils would be fun to trace the words as well.

We traced each line in a different color. You can see how fun the colors make it.

Dot the Number 4

You have the number four on the the page. It is big number 4 that takes up a lot of the page. You can use dot markers to dot the number. It is a fun way to work on the number four without handwriting.

You have a dot marker four word. It has the word four with dots on the letters to make the word. You can see the lines of the word under the letter.

You can use a dot marker to dot the circles on the letters.

Find the Number 4

You have a number four fine worksheet. Kids can see the number four on the left hand side with four shirts below.
Kids then look and dot the number four they find in the circles.

Color the Number 4 & Four Word by Color

You have the number 4 and number four word in bubble font for kids to use the color code on the top left hand side of the paper for kids to color. A great way to work on the word four and the numerical number 4.

Color by Size Number 4

You can work on differences of size with kids. There is a color code on the top left hand side of the paper. Kids use the color code to color the three sizes of the number four. You have small, medium, and big.

Color the Number 4

You have a number find worksheets where kids look for the number 4 mixed in with other numbers. They find and color all the fours on the page. This is a simple letter find worksheet for kids.

Shape Tracing with Solid Line with the Number 4

You have a shape tracing worksheet with 8 shapes on the page. You will find the number 4 in the middle of the shapes. The shapes have a thick solid line for kids to trace the shape around the number four.

You can use this worksheet one time. But you can also reuse it by putting in a sheet protector or laminating the page and then tracing with dry erase markers.

Shape Tracing with Dashed Line Line with the Number 4

You can see another shape tracing page with the number 4 inside the shape. This one has a thin dashed line around the number. This is a great progressing from the thick line to the thin line.

You can also reuse this one like the thick line. You can see we use the sheet protector and the dry erase marker to trace the lines of the shapes.

Follow the Number 4 Path or Number Maze

You have a number 4 maze worksheet. You have the number 4 maze that starts of the top left hand side of the box by the word start. Kids follow the number 4 through the number maze to the end on the bottom right side of the maze. It is a simple no-prep worksheet for the number four.

You have another number maze but with the word four. This is great for finding the number four mixed in with other number words. You have kids follow the number four from the top left hands side of the grid to the bottom right hand side of the grid. A great no-prep worksheet for the number four word.

Color the Number 4 with Color Words

You have a coloring page with color words. This is a worksheet where you color the number for the color that is below the number four. A fun way to add more words and colors while working on the number four.

Number 4 Counting Book

You have a six-page counting book for kids. You have different types of clothes on each page. You have coloring the number 4 and four at the top of each page.

Then you have a simple sentence below about the item and the word four. You can see one of the pages from the book below.

Sorting Number 4 & Number Four Word

You have a sorting the numerical number and the number four word. You have the 4 and four on the shirts. Kids are to sort them to the correct spot on the page. This is ag reat hands-on activity that you can print on colored cardstock and use in a learning center.

Number 4 Spinner

You have a number four spinner. it has the numerical 4 in three different fonts and the number four word in the same three different fonts. This is a great way to use with the roll and count worksheet. You can use a pencil and paperclip to make the spinner. But the clear spinners work great as well.

Number 4 Dice

You have a number four folding die that matches the spinner. You can print, cut out, and fold the page to made the die.

Roll & Count Numbers with 4 and Four

You can see the number 4 graphing page below. You can use the die with out or the spinner. You can see we used the spinner this time. And we used a dot marker for graphing our spins.

Roll & Count Shirt Tiles

If you want to change up things you can give kids the shirt tiles to use with the graphing page. They cut out the shirts and glue them on the graphing page after each roll.

Number 4 Matching Cards

You have a fun matching game where kids match the number 4 and four. They are in six different fonts and kids match the four and 4 in the same font. You have a set of cards with the numbers together and a set with the numbers mixed up.

You can see we used color cardstock to make this matching game.

Number Four 2 Piece Puzzles

You have four two piece puzzles for kids. You have the number 4, the word four, four shirts and four shirts with number 4 and word four.

You can use the puzzle pieces that kids are learning or do all four puzzles.

Number Four 9 Piece Puzzle

You have a nine piece puzzle for kids to make it has the number 4 in the top left order and the word four in the bottom right hand side. You have the four shirts in the middle of the puzzle.

The puzzle is black and white which lets kids color the puzzle cut out the puzzles and the build the puzzle. You can also color and cut out the puzzle in advance. Then kids can make the puzzle. You can print an extra copy and have them match a colored version to a black and white version.
