Preparing the printables
If you plan on using these printables a lot then it is best to print on cardstock and laminate the baseball bat measuring cards. This will help them hold up better to lots of measuring.
Measure the Baseball Bats
You pull out the baseball bat that you are measuring. You have numbers 1 to 6 on the cards to help know what part should be measured.
You place the unfix cubes on the side with the arrow. The arrow will help you know where to measure. And the baseball bat and the arrow are the exact same length.
If you don’t have unifix cubes there is a measuring printable in the set. It is about the same size as the unfix cubes. Or you can measure using the baseballs for a different way of measuring.
Record the How Long Each Baseball Bat Is
After you have the measurement of the height of the bats, you then record it on the worksheet. You color in the blocks on the side to match and then write how many blocks there area.
All six baseball bats have numbers to make it easy to see where they should record for each bat.
