Free Making Words: Merry Christmas Printable
We have been working on making lots of words from letters. I thought we would do this activity for Christmas. We have really enjoyed this and it is something that can be used for many different levels. You can do basic words or try and work on larger words. It can vary for the level of the child you are working with.
I wanted this activity to be loads of fun for the kids to do. They like to have hands on activities every now and the. I put letter tiles in for this reason. It lets them move the letters around and see what they can make. Some times you get real words and some times you get funny mixed up words. There are two types of tiles: color and black and white. I wanted to put the black and white in for those that don’t always want to print color.
The letters you have to use are: c, h, r, i, s, t, m, a, e, y.
There are two sheets for the writing: one has mention of the letter tiles and the other does not. It gives you space to make 12 different words.
