Ways to Use the Ice Cream ABC Cut & Paste Printable
I’m going to show you a simple way that we use this printable. You can use the page that works best for you.
Color the ABC Matching Page
You color the cones and ice cream scoops. This is a great way to work on seeing the letters on the page. This could also be done at the end.
Cut off the Uppercase Letters
You cut off the uppercase letters on the side. It makes them easier to cut up if the strip is cut off first.
By cutting off the strips of uppercase letters first, it allows kids to have an easier time cutting out the individual uppercase letters.
Cut Out letters and Paste The Letters
Then you cut out each of the letters and paste them onto the worksheet. You can see how the scoops fit on top of the cones.
If you can doing this with the child you can ask them about how they are matching the letters.
This printable would also work great with the Ice Cream Cone ABC Matching. It is a great hands-on ABC matching activity for kids.
