What is Skip Counting?
Skip counting is counting forward or backward by a number other than 1.
So that would be like skip counting by 2 and you would have the numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc.
A lot of skip counting is also part of repeat addition and multiplication.
You skip count four times by two 2, 4, 6, 8. You get eight as the ending number. It is the same as 2+2+2+2=8 or 2×4=8.
Farm Skip Counting Strips Printable
There are four farm skip counting strips for each of the numbers in the set. You have two strips that skip count forward and two and skip count backward. This allows you to work on a mix counting with the same number.
You have skip counting for numbers 1 to 12. Each strip has three numbers for kids to use to figure out the skip counting pattern. And then write the next two numbers in the pattern.
