This Christmas lights template also great for a torn paper craft. You can see how easy it is to tear and glue the paper on the light. Tearing paper is a great fine motor skill for kids. These torn paper lights make a great Christmas decorate that could be cut out as well. You can see we used red construction paper for the light and black construction paper for the base of the light.
You can also use it as a template for a tissue paper craft also.

Setting up a Fine motor Tracing Center
You can see below a simple tracing center that you can set up. You can use the big light or the page with many lights. The Christmas light tracing page also has the string of lights.
You can give them a pencil to trace the first time and a marker the second time. You can see a pencil with a pencil grip. The pencil grip is great for kids who have an issue with holding the pencil.
Reusing the Christmas Lights Tracing Printable
You can also reuse the Christmas light tracing page. You can put the page in a sheet protector. You can see below we used the string of light to and trace the lines with dry erase markers.
This is really fun for kids and great for different lines and angles to trace different lines. And perfect for fine motor centers. You could use it several times.

You can see how fun it is to dot marker the Christmas light. We used a glitter dot marker so it is shinny. And it dose not ways show that in the pictures, but we love those dot markers.
You can use the normal set and dot all the circles is great for working on fine motor skills.
Reuse the Christmas Light Dot Marker Printable
If you want to use the Christmas light dot marker a few times before using the dot marker on them. Then use glass gems or clear counters to cover the circles. You can see how much fun it is to have all the glass gems on the light. And this makes a great fine motor center for Christmas.
And you can let kids use their favorite color for the glass gems on the light bulb.

You will see a few ways to use the Christmas light cotton swab printable.
Use Q-tip to Paint the Christmas Light
You can see below that we use paints and q-tips to paint the Christmas light. This is a great fine motor center idea for kids. You can use their favorite color and let them paint the light.
They will work on fine motor skills by holding the cotton swab and then dotting over and over with it. You can see how the q-tip makes great dots in each of the circles. And this may take a bit of time for kids to do.
Using Mini Dot Markers on the Christmas Lights
You can also use mini dot markers on the Christmas lights. they are the right size for the circles. They are also great for still working on matching a small circles but something bigger for kids to hold.
