Ways to use the Blend Puzzle Printables
One Blends Puzzle at a Time
If you are using the blends puzzles as a center, I like to give them one word at a time. I start with all the pieces mixed up.
Then once they have the puzzles put together have them tell you the beginning blend and the word. You can even have them sound it out depending on the word.
You could also use the writing paper to record the puzzle they made.
Matching Letters to the Blends Puzzle
Another way to use the blend puzzles is to have them make the word and then find the matching letters for it! I like to use the lacing letters for this.
Use Letter Only for the Blends Puzzle Printable
You can also change this up how you do it. You can cut the letters off at the bottom and keep the picture together and then use the letters to spell the word.

Ooh, love the puzzle idea! That way kids can see if they’ve gotten it right on their own and fix it if they need to. Great one!
