How We Made The Flower Stamp Painting
You can see the steps below that we used to make the flower stamp painting.
Paint On Paper Plate Or Tray
You want to put a ring of paint on a paper plate or a tray. You move the paint around with the cookie cutter make sure to cover all the edges of each flower cookie cutter.
Stamping The Cookie Cutter On The Paper
After you have paint on the cookie cutter you place the cookie cutter on the paper. It does not matter where the cookie cutter is placed on the paper.
You want to press on the top of the cookie cutter to get the paint on the paper.
Look The The Flower On The Paper
Then you look at the flower on the paper. You can see how it looks and it may not look perfect but that is okay.
Each flower you stamp will look different depending on how much paint is on the cookie cutter and how flat the cookie cutter is pressed on the paper.
Keep Stamping Flower On The Paper
After you have started you want to keep stamping the flower on the paper. You can go back to the paint after each stamp or stamp until the paint runs out.
And let them decide how much of each flower they want to do.
Add Different Flowers But Keep Painting
You can keep going with the stamping of flower and add in other flower shapes and colors. It is fun to see the flowers are they appear on the paper.
Kids can have a blast doing this and it is their painting and not how you want it.
Remember that you might have cookie cutters that are slide across the paper and that is okay.
You might have one cookie cutter repeated in the same spot over and over and this is okay!
