How we made the Scrapbook Paper Flower Wreath Craft
You can see the steps below that we used to make the Scrapbook Paper Flower wreath craft.
Dot Marker the Paper Plate
You want to dot marker the paper plate. You can use other things like paints and watercolors. But we have found the dot markers dry pretty quick.
You can use a single color of dot marker for the wreath. It is simple to dot or slide the dot marker on the plate.
But you can mix it up by using different colors of green on the paper plate. You can see how the colors blend together on the plate.
You set the paper plate aside to dry while you do the next step.
Punch Out the Flowers
Now we have three different flower punches. And we use all three plus a 5/8 inch circle punch.
You put the paper in the punch and press down. You can do two pages of scrapbook paper at the same time.
You can see how pretty the flowers look after they are punched out. You can mix and match the flowers any way you want. And with lots of different colors of scrapbook paper it is fun.
You can see some of the flowers that we punched out here. You can skip the steps above and have the flowers already punched out but it is interesting to see what kids pick to punch out the flowers.
Glue the Flowers on the Wreath
Finally you are going to glue the flowers onto the wreath. You can place the flowers down first and then glue them on.
Or you can glue the flowers as you place them on the wreath.
