Helpful Suggestion when working with Chalk Pastels
If this is your first time working with chalk pastel here are a few suggestions. Because chalk pastels can be messy but still fun
– Put newspaper or other paper down on your crafting area
– Put your project on a tray or a shallow cardboard box which will keep most of the mess inside the tray
– You can try doing your project outside. Outside if great because it is less mess to clean up.
– Have lots of paper towels handy – You are going to want to wipe your hands and fingers off between colors. we used both wet and dry towels.
Once you are done making your fireworks, take the chalk craft outside to blow off the extra dust.
