Cookie cutter painting is where you use a cookie cutter and paint inside the cookie cutter or use the cookie cutter to stamp paints on the page.

You will see the steps that we use to make the cookie cutter painting.
Pick the Cookie Cutter Shape
Pick your first cookie cutter. It can be any cookie cutter in the set. You place in on the paper and then hold it on the outside or on the top of the cookie cutter.
Paint Inside the Coookie Cutter
Then you paint inside the cookie cutter. Super simple to do. You can use one color or two colors. Let kids decide how they want to use the cookie cutter painting!
When my youngest was little she liked to stand and look inside the cookie cutter while she was painting.
Lift off the Cookie Cutter
After you have finished lift off the cutter cutter! You can see the hydrant that she just painted. This is a great way to learn shapes and items you are painting.
Repeat the Steps Above
After you have finished one start on the new cookie cutter you want to use. You can use all of the cookie cutters are just a few of them.

Painting with Cookie Cutter Tips
You want to make sure you have a bowel or water and a towel to clean off the cookie cutters between painting. They clean up easily when you use watercolors.
You also want to make sure you dry the cookie cutters after you are done to prevent rusting.
