Favorite Random Fun from 2012

The girls and I a lot of fun during the year. Here is some of the random fun posts that were my favorite and one from the girls as well.

Tissue Box Camera

The Tissue Box Camera was one of my first posts. It may be old but one of my favorite ones. The girls kept that box around for a long time and still want one when we empty a tissue box now. It was something simple that really proves that anything can be made into a toy.

Little Red Hen and Making Bread

Little Red Hen and Making Bread was fun because we brought out the part of making the bread and what it takes to mix and make it on your own. Amelia was covered with flour and loved every minute of making the bread. We also followed up by making a trip to see how wheat used to be ground.

Sock Patterns

Sock Patterns was fun because the girls really got into it. It made the post so much fun to do. It several days of patterns for the pictures but the girls kept doing sock patterns even after we were done with the activity.

Flower Shop Trip

The Flower Shop Trip was a favorite because of how much fun I had and the flower shop owner had. We all learned about flowers and matched them up as well. It was hands on learning at its best. Plus we got wonderful flowers at home for a while.
