There are many different types of math that you learn. One math we have been working on is even and odd. There are so many wants to learn this and make it fun.

We have always loved the farm theme. So this week I have a fun free farm even and odd activity.

Today’s printable is a part of Farm Week.

Even and odd are skills that you start to learn in second grade. It can be hard for some and easy for others. I know that we had to work on a fun way for kids to work on this subject.

This time around we are doing loads of things differently. We are changing up how we do it.

We have been using a paperclip and pencil for a spinner for a long time. But my girls wanted to use read spinners, so I grabbed these transparent spinners to use. They have been so much fun.

One spinner is for the tens place and the second spinner is for the one place.

There is a recording sheet that you can use with the spinners. It is simple and easy to use. It has a space for writing the number they spin and circling if it is even or odd.

First, have them spin the spinners. This is loads of fun. You can still have them paperclip and pencil for the sinners.

Second, they record their spins on the paper and circle the even or odd. This is easy for kids to do and make a great center.
