Fall Tree Skip Counting by 7 Easy Reader Book
I have always been a fan of easy reader books. There were always my favorite when I was young because it was my book. And now I have fun books to use for many different things.
Today’s fun skip counting book has a fall tree theme. You have skip counting by 7s.
There other skip counting versions of this book have been a huge hit and we love using them! I always get asked if I’m making more…so here is another one!
This is a fun addition to the skip counting printables on the site. I love having new things to use for skip counting.
The book works on skip counting by sevens. Each page in the book shows pictures with seven leaves to count on each tree, a number to color, and a repeat addition at the bottom of the page.
All of these are fun ways to work on a skip counting.
Things to use with this Skip Counting Book
I always get asked about the items I use in the posts or mention in the post. And here is the list of the items we used with this printable.
How to make the Easy Reader Book
You start by printing off the pages of the book. There are 7 pages for paper needed for the book.
Once you have the book printed out. You line up all the pages and cut down the middle line. You want to make sure you hold the pages tight as you cut so that you stay on the line for all the pages.
Once you have the pages cut you alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even on the bottom. You can see how I started to sort the book here.
Then you staple the book along the edge of the book. I use three or four staples for the edge of the book. It depends on how much I think the book will be used.
Ways to use the Skip Counting By 7 Easy Reader Book
You can read through the book and color the number and the trees. It might be one fun way to use the book.
You can also write in the numbers on the bottom of each repeat addition so kids can see the numbers adding up.
You can also use a hands-on tool like unifix cubes. I have 12 sets of 7 to use with the book. You can add another 7 as you go through the book.
At the end of the book are all the skip counting number by 7 that kids can see. It is a good way to practice the nubmers.
If you did the unifix cubes you can stack them as you read the numbers at the end.
