Free Easy to Use Easter Egg ABC Tracing Strips – All 26 letters of the Alphabet
ABCs are something you can work on all year long. I know that we are always working on tracing our letters in many different ways. Easter Egg Themed ABC Tracing Strips are super simple and easy for kids to use.
These Easeter ABC Tracing Strips are something that would work great with my Easter ABC Find.
You can add these easter themed letter tracings strips to learning centers and have fun. They have letters from A to Z for kids to trace.

These are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for winter.
It is recommend that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating Them.
You can see an example of the tracing strips below. You can see the uppercase and lowercase letters on the strip with the example and the ones to trace with the Easter Egg.
Things to use with the Easter Themed ABC Tracing Strips Printable
- printer
- white cardstock
- laminator – this is similar to what I use and love!
- laminating pouches
- q-tip
- dry erase markers
- rings
Ways to Use the Easter ABC Tracing Strips Printable
Laminating the Easter ABC Tracing Strips
You can laminate the easter letter tracing strips. You can print, laminate, and then cut the number tracing strips. Or you can cut, laminate, and then cut it out again.
You can see that we like to do the first with the laminate and then cut. If you do the laminate and then cut it is recommended that use scissors to cut the strips to help keep the laminate from coming apart.
Storing the Easter ABC Tracing Strips
You can see that we like to store the tracing strips on a ring. This allows us to keep them all together rather than searching for the letter that we need.
Setting up an Easter ABC Letter Tracing Centers
You can see below a simple set up for a letter tracing center. This has the letters we are working on. You have the letter strips and a dry erase marker. And the colored markers are fun for the seasons!
You can put all the letters or just some of the letters. A few ways to use them would be to pull out the letters from a sight word they are working on, letters from their names, or a spelling word for the current season.
Tracing the Letters
You can trace the letters on the strip. You can trace just the letters on the strip or trace the example letter and then the strip. The colored dry erase markers let you see the lines behind.
A fun tip if you have a hard time getting the dry eraser marker off try using dry erase board cleaner. It comes off really easy then!
Put ABC Tracing Strips in a Binder
If you want to avoid laminating the strips you can use them in a binder. You can put them in a sheet protector and just use the letters you are working on.
