Easy To Make: Washi Tape Flower Wreath
We love spring. It is one of our favorite times! We are always looking for new spring activities to do.
One of our favorite crafts the last few years has been done with washi tape. We have a fun collection that we have been using. We have not had spring here yet but we are looking forward do it.
We decided to make some fine motor washi tape flower wreaths.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
This is a great addition to the wreath crafts and flower crafts on the site.
We made a similar type of wreath at Christmas and loved it. We switched it up by making a flower version and we had tons of fun making it.
We paired this activity with the book The Tiny Seed.
What you need for the Washi Tape Flower Wreath Craft
- paper plate with center cut out
- green dot marker & lime green dot marker
- washi tape
- glue
- flower punch
- circle punch
- white cardstock
How we made the Washi Tape Flower Wreath Craft
The first thing we did was paint our paper plates with the dot markers. You could use any paint to cover the plates. We set them aside afterward so they would dry.
We covered the cardstock with strips of washi tape. We put the tap on the paper up as high punch would go. We each put several different colors or mixes. Then we use the punch to make different mixes flowers.
Then we punched out circles to make the center of our flowers out of the washi tape that was not used for flowers or made new strips to take to do what we wanted.
We glued the circles on the punched out flowers.
The last thing we did was glue the flowers on the paper plates. We each decided how many flowers to make and how it would look.
