Easy To Make Apple Wreath Craft
Craft projects have always been fun at our house. We love to do them. We often change one craft project to work for other things. We took one of our space wreaths and made it a fun apple themed wreath.
This makes an easy process craft for fall. Everyone can do and make these their own way. It takes very little time to set up and loads of fun to display during the season.
It makes a great addition to any apple theme.
The Apple Wreath Craft is a great addition to the apple crafts on the site.
The theme is apples is great for fall. It is a favorite for us for sure. We are always doing something with it. I always look forward to eating and baking with them. And we love doing apple crafts and enjoy doing them.
This apple wreath craft uses paper plate, oil pastels, apple punch and dot markers. You use all that to make a fun apple wreath.
Apple Book We Read with this Apple Wreath
One book we like to read about apples is The Seasons of Arnold’s Apple Tree by Gail Gibbons. It is a great book to learn about the different stages an apple tree goes through.
What you need to make this activity
- white cardstock
- oil pastels
- 2 inch apple punch
- 1 inch apple punch
- dot marker
- papaer plates – With center cut out
- glue
How we made this craft
I had already cut out the center of the paper plate to make things go easier. We used dot marker to paint the paper plate. When we finished that we set it aside to dry.
We use a sample of each apple to know how far on the cardstock we needed to color. We use cardstock because the apples would be stiffer than regular paper. This is fun because everyone can be creative in how they color their apples. And no apples turn out the same and there are no mistakes when making these.
Once we have our paper colored we punch the apples. This is fun for those that like depressure activities. We lined the paper and punch up and tried to get the coloring in the center. But no apple is the same and we love seeing the results we got.
Our final step was the place our apples around the wreath and them glue them where we want them to be. I love to see how creative we all made our wreaths.
