Easy Craft: Yarn Pictures

This months theme is Caldecott Medal Books. There are so many different books to pick from! We really had a hard time just picking one book. There are so many books to pick from. You can see some of our favorites in the introduction post.

We decided to pick one from the honor section. We decided on Extra Yarn. I love this book because it has yarn. Yarn is so much fun to craft with. We have done several crafts with yarn and love it!

This art project is simple and fun. It is also great for fine motor. I love that as my girls get older we are doing slightly more complex projects. But that my youngest can still do something simple when she wants to.

What you need for this activity: yarn, glue, scissors and paper.

Everyone decided the project they would do. They drew on their paper what it would be.

Next was putting on the glue and doing the project! This was a great fine motor activity for the girls and I. We really had fun doing the project. We had fingers covered with glue and had fun.
