How we made the Easter Wreath Craft
You will see the steps below that we used to make the Easter wreath.
Dot Marker the Paper Plate
First, you dot marker the plate. We love dot markers because they dry fast and are super easy to cover the paper plate. We used two colors of dot markers. You can see which ones in the links above.
You can see a version of painting the plate with watercolors here.
Punch out the Eggs with Easter Paper
Next, you punch out the eggs. You can use an oval punch to cut out the eggs. It is super easy to use.
You put th paper in the oval punch and press.
You can see how the shape looks after you punch the oval. It makes a very pretty egg shape. And the Easter scrapbook paper is fun to use!
Now, if you have an older child doing the craft you can have them turn the punch inside down so they can pick the way they want to oval shape to look.
Glue the Eggs on the Wreath
Finally, you glue the eggs on the wreath. You can make patterns or just glue them around the wreath. Let kids be creative with how may or how few eggs they put on the wreath.
