No-Prep Easter Themed Spin and Cover L Blends
I love having no-prep to mix in with the hands-on. Mainly because I don’t always have time to prep an activity. At times I just want something simple and easy to do without anything complex about it.
At that is I have today a fun activity with blends for Easter! We love the spin and cover activities. It can make learning so much fun. Plus eggs and bunnies are great for Easter.
These are a great addition to The Easter Printables on the site.
This set of printables works on the l blends. Those are bl, cl, fl, gl pl, and sl. They are divided between the two pages. I wanted something simple and fun for kids to work on.
Each of the pages has a spinner and 5 eggs that have pictures that match that spinner.
How to Use These Printables
To use the spinner, you use a pencil and paper clip
One way we did this printable was the spin and cover the picture with the matching first letter of the blend. We used lacing letters
Also be sure to check they are doing it right. I noticed after we were done that my daughter had put the letter “g” on backward.
One fun way to do this is to first color the spinner with three colors. We use pink, yellow and purple. Then they spin and color the egg that same color as the blend is colored.
