Easter Activities Pack: Prewriting, Shapes, ABCs & Numbers

Easter has so many fun themes and I love Easter Eggs. It is a fun theme to have in the spring. Plus kids love them. We are always having fun with new activities for Easter every year.

This is a great new set that has prewriting, shapes, ABCs, and numbers. It is a fun collection of printables that hands no-prep and hands-on ideas for kids to do.

Plus these sets are great for working from one area to another. You can work at the level you are learning. With different tracing strips, easy reader books, clip cards, and no-prep worksheets. There is something for different types of learners. Plus it has some fun Easter Egg themed activities.

This is a list of items we commonly use to prepare and use these printables. You don’t need to have them all but they do help.

How we used some of the printables in the Easter Activities Pack

I love the themes prewriting pages. They are a blast for kids to do. The eggs are so much fun. You have thin lines and thick lines. Plus there is a simple prewriting page with lines to trace from the bunny to the egg.

You can have fun with the prewriting strips. I print these on cardstock to help them last longer. I also laminate and use dry erase markers on. I store these on a 1 inch ring. There are thick lines and thin lines to trace.

There is also a fun easy reader book! I know that there are kids that just love books. And this makes prewriting loads of fun to do. Each page has the bunny going to the Easter egg.

You have a very fun Easter Egg theme shape page. It has a big egg with shapes to trace inside of it. You have three shapes to trace. After you get done tracing you can color the egg as well.

You have shape clip cards to help match the shape that is the same. It is a simple way to work on shapes. We use clothespins on the clip cards. You could also use paperclips.

You have a set of shape tracing stops. There is an egg with the shape and three shapes to trace. I print these on cardstock to help them last longer. I also laminate and use dry erase markers on. I store these on a 1 inch ring.

You have an easy reader book as well. The book tells kids what the bunny drew on the egg. It has the same shapes as the rest of the set. It is super fun to do.

There are two sets fo ABC pages. You have one with two letters per page and one with one letter per page with tracing. The eggs have 6 colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. We use crayons to color the pages.

The set has two types of clip cards. You have Uppercase letter matching and matching lowercase letters to uppercase letters. We use clothespins on these cards.

There are three types of tracing strips for the ABCs. It has uppercase and lowercase together, uppercase only, and lowercase only. This lets you work on the letters you need. I recommend printing these on cardstock and laminating them. It allows you to reuse them over and over. We store ours on a 1 inch ring.

There is a number coloring page you can do. It has an Easter Basket with eggs and numbers to trace. It has numbers 0 to 10.

You have a matching easy reader book. It has the number to trace and matching basket with eggs. There is also a matching Easter Egg chart you can use with the book!

You have four sets of clip cards for the numbers. You have matching numbers, what number comes next, count and clip and which ones has more. These are fun and easy to use. We used clothespins for the clipping.

The set also has tracing strips. It has numbers 0 to 10 with three options number digit and number word, number digit only and number word only. That helps you use what you are working out. I recommend printing these on cardstock and laminating them. It helps them last longer and you can reuse them.
