Dinosaur Tracks – Poppin Nook Book
We have a lot of dinosaur books at our house. We have been doing dinosaurs for years now. Not as much as we were, but still a decent amount. There are a lot of different types of dinosaur books. This Popping Nook Book Club this month we read Dinosaurs Before Dark (Magic Tree House, No. 1) and Dinosaurs: A Nonfiction Companion to Magic Tree House 1: Dinosaurs Before Dark. These are both great books. Chapter books are always fun to read!

How we did our dinosaur footprint activities
We flattened out the play dough and put tracks in the dough. We looked at how different each of them were.
Then we did a tracks on a paper with paint and the same dinosaurs. The girls liked to explore the different dinosaurs. This was the end of our dinosaur theme week that we had at home.
The final product.
Here are some other fun dinosaur books that you can check out.

That looks like a lot of fun! The paintings look pretty neat as an end product, too.
It was a lot of fun! It was neat to compare both after as well, but I did not have pictures of that. 🙂
We have done play dough before but not paint! Looks like fun!
You are so creative! Love that you pulled out the Play Dough for this project. The girls look like they had a blast!
They totally enjoy doing this! Plus the dinosaurs each have a unique footprint as well! We did this about 4 times and this time I finally got the camera out for it. 🙂
